Topic: Shopping Mall Configuration

OK
building a new AShop for a client that needs
country specific ordering, for 10-12 products, involving 10-20 countries (eventually)
so that taxes and shipping can be proper in the cart
for the person whether they are ordering from say the UK, USA, or China.

Shipping to the UK will be from within the UK
Shipping to the USA will be from within the USA
Shipping to China will be from within China
etc. etc

I thought to use the Shopping Mall and need some help . . .

I can set up each Mall Space for each country or so I think . . .
But I don't want to build the category list in each mall space each time.
Is there a way to get all info from the main AShop category list to each area ? ? ?

I think there is a single choice that is click able ????
or a more complex way ???

so I unchecked  Member Catalogs option in Shop Parameters and the category list shows up in each mall location
Now I just need to import the products to each mall location ???

I also think shipping is determined by the main
which means shipping is calculated from that location ????

Should I maybe set up a separate AShop for each country

eg.
website.com/USA/ashop/catalogue.php
website.com/UK/ashop/catalogue.php
website.com/Canada/ashop/catalogue.php
website.com/China/ashop/catalogue.php

etc. ???

a lot of work but . . .

So the solution was to load AShopV into country specific folders,
basicly having a seperate shopping cart for each country
this way shipping can be handled and calculated from the point of origin.
ie: usa uk, other, for now.

A lot of work and I likey did it the hard way,
but it seems to work.
